During the summer of 2025, I was hired by Fane Productions to provide remote cover for their in-house Graphic Design Lead during an absence. Fane Productions is a leading promoter of premium live events and author tours, showcasing some of the biggest names in literature, film, television, and sport to deliver unforgettable experiences for audiences across the UK, Australia, and the United States. I was responsible for delivering creative assets for a series of high-profile shows, maintaining brand consistency and meeting urgent deadlines while collaborating effectively with the marketing team.
One challenging project involved promotional materials for Matthew McConaughey’s Poems & Prayers Book Tour. Due to the time difference between the UK and the USA, I was unable to access layered files and had only a single JPEG reference to work with. I reverse-engineered the design by carefully identifying fonts, textures, layout hierarchy, and visual language. The result was a clean, production-ready master artwork that could be rapidly adapted across more than 30 different formats, from extreme landscape web banners to portrait-oriented social assets, ensuring visual continuity and brand integrity for deployment.
The same resourceful approach was needed for several other campaigns where access to assets was limited. I adapted them into professional print-ready and web-ready collateral for Miriam Margolyes’ Edinburgh Fringe show, Stuart Broad’s audience tour, and events at Silverstone. These tasks required speed, a keen eye for detail, and creative problem-solving to elevate constrained source material into polished, on-brand deliverables that met both digital and physical production standards.
Building on this foundation, I was trusted to originate a full promotional campaign from scratch for the UK book talk with McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown, supporting his book Seven Tenths of a Second: Life, Leadership and Formula 1. This project involved direct liaison with the McLaren marketing team to develop a cohesive suite of collateral that aligned seamlessly with their brand guidelines and campaign objectives. It was a rewarding step up in scope and responsibility, allowing me to demonstrate end-to-end campaign thinking while working collaboratively with stakeholders remotely.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with Fane Productions and would welcome the opportunity to support them again on future projects.
